Overview of Funding

SoVa Inc. has announced that it raised a total of 630 million yen in September 2026 through a Series B round consisting of a third-party allotment of shares and debt financing. The equity financing (210 million yen) was backed by existing investors including JAFCO Group and Boost Capital, while the debt financing (420 million yen) was provided by Mizuho Bank and the Japan Finance Corporation, among others. The newly acquired funds will be invested in the development of efficiency technologies in the accounting and AI sectors, as well as service expansion.

About SoVa Inc.

SoVa is a startup operating accounting practices that combine domain expertise with technology, under its corporate vision of becoming the "Uniqlo of the accounting firm industry." Just three years after its launch, the company has surpassed 1,300 client companies. It has built a framework to deliver high-quality, cost-effective back-office operations—such as bookkeeping, payroll calculation, and administrative agency procedures—through proprietary operational improvements.

Purpose of Funding and Future Outlook

With this funding, SoVa will accelerate investments in product development and talent acquisition. Aiming to become the "best and largest" accounting firm, the company is moving beyond traditional efficiency gains to promote the "expansion of services" that directly contribute to corporate management. As the first step in this initiative, it has released an "AI CFO Service," which analyzes financial conditions and delivers video-based cash flow and management advice. This service will be rolled out free of charge to existing plan users.
