Global Brain Corporation has invested in VALT JAPAN Inc., a company operating a DX platform specialized for the hard-to-employ, through the "Meiji Yasuda Future Co-Creation Investment Limited Partnership" (Meiji Yasuda Future Co-Creation Fund). Through this investment, and in collaboration with Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Company, VALT JAPAN will build a framework to accelerate its business expansion and social implementation.
VALT JAPAN collaborates with employment support facilities for persons with disabilities across Japan, providing "NEXT HERO," a platform that centrally assumes the responsibilities of project contractors. Furthermore, the company operates "NEXT HERO DIC," a Type-A employment support facility for persons with disabilities established through partnerships with major corporations. It focuses on providing digital service operations that leverage the latent potential of people with disabilities, such as IT operations and AI annotation.
Amidst the deepening structural labor shortage in Japan, employment of people with disabilities requires going beyond merely meeting statutory employment rates to practicing "human capital management" that integrates diverse talent as core corporate assets and ensures their retention. Global Brain evaluated VALT JAPAN's initiatives as having the potential to become a crucial social infrastructure that materializes corporate human capital management, leading to its decision to invest. Moving forward, both companies will work together to strongly support further business expansion and societal integration.
