BRICKS FUND TOKYO, a startup investment fund managed by Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd., has made an additional investment in VALT JAPAN Inc., the developer of "NEXT HERO," a DX platform specialized in empowering difficult-to-employ individuals. Through continued support for the company's growth, Mitsubishi Estate aims to further expand the results of their co-creation, solve labor challenges, and realize urban development where everyone can thrive.
VALT JAPAN operates under the vision of "building a new social infrastructure where difficult-to-employ individuals can thrive through work." The company operates "NEXT HERO," a DX platform that provides a mechanism for individuals with disabilities, intractable illnesses, and other untapped labor potentials to succeed in the business market. Since its establishment in 2014, the company has been building new employment models in which diverse human resources take on core corporate tasks.
Building on their initial investment, the two companies jointly opened "NEXT HERO DIC MARUNOUCHI Supported by Mitsubishi Estate" in February 2025, an Employment Support Type-A facility specializing in digital operations. The facility has attracted over 800 applicants annually, and orders for business operations from major corporations are expanding, successfully establishing a proven model. Moving forward, the companies plan to deepen their partnership as shareholders to accelerate the social implementation of this new employment model nationwide.
