OLTA Inc. has launched "Embedded Factoring," a new solution that allows its online factoring service, "OLTA Cloud Factoring," to be integrated into third-party services via APIs. Following previous OEM partnerships with regional financial institutions, this new delivery model enables businesses to complete funding operations directly within the platforms they use daily, such as accounting and invoice management systems.
"Embedded Factoring" is an API solution that implements factoring capabilities within partner company services. As the first phase of this rollout, a partnership with JCB Co., Ltd. is scheduled to begin by the end of March 2027, integrating with "Cashmap," a financial management and cash flow improvement portal for SMEs and sole proprietors. This will allow users to manage deposits, withdrawals, and invoice information on Cashmap while securing funds using accounts receivable whenever necessary.
Under this service, OLTA handles the entire process, from screening and receivable purchases to post-deposit collection management. Because partner companies do not need to build their own credit assessment or collection frameworks, they can implement financial features with significantly reduced operational burdens. Another key strength is that by sharing deposit/withdrawal statements and invoice data from the partner's service with OLTA via API, user application effort is drastically reduced.
Starting with the newly announced collaboration with JCB, OLTA plans to sequentially expand integrations with various services supporting the operations of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and micro-businesses. Amid the planned phase-out of promissory notes and paper checks in Japan, OLTA is accelerating efforts to create an environment where funding can be conducted seamlessly within daily business operations.
